Well I just got home with a bit of egg on my face. I walked all the way to Lion's Den for Xmas dinner (90 minutes as the crow flies) and of course it was closed. But lesson learned and I made a note to plan a little better next year. I'll take the #mulligan on this one.

This Gem of Denman is a real treat, especially on these damp fall - almost winter - days, it's Delaney's Coffee. There are a few around but mostly on the North Shore so we're lucky they chose the West End as a home in Vancouver. Great coffee and great people #cozy ☕🥐
