So from 17 August our Article 4 direction ends permitted development on smaller HMOs, and we’re taking a motion to full council to make Durham the hardest place in Britain to open one.

My paternal grandfather went to Oxford University….he was sponsored by his Railway Union and studied Law….he became a Barrister at Grays Inn… and a QC…..and a Labour MP for 23 years.
I was born in West Ham…let’s not talk about football until WHU are back in the Premier League. Growing up in the 1950’s I was indoctrinated into believing the Labour Party was the way forward.
