This is completely illogical and shows a complete lack of understanding of economics. The implication is that the pie is fixed and wealth creation is a zero-sum game. Just the opposite. @elonmusk has risked capital and invested blood, sweat and tears into building businesses from which countless others benefit (as investors, employees or customers). We should absolutely cheer his success and show why the capitalistic system is absolutely the best path to economic security and prosperity the world has ever experienced. I hope his wealth increases 10x from here because millions will be positively impacted. Go Elon and a hearty CONGRATULATIONS!

I am so happy I did not succumb to this propaganda because I knew I had done more research and knew more than the vast majority of these people. What I really still don’t understand is their ultimate motive in pushing this. Was there an underlying agenda or were they actually so simple minded and lacked intellectual curiosity and logic?

happy to be in #4. Even though I got lot of criticism from friends, it was easy to stand firm because it was clear I was doing the research and hard work while they were listening to sound bites. They could have changed my mind if they came with defensible arguments. But if you don't even know IFR by cohort, don't expect me to give an inch to your simple minded position.
