@Timcast Because it would require people to register using a passport rather than just a driver's license. Passports are expensive and take time to obtain.
@DavidSacks If you support people having as many options as possible, and their preferences being best represented, then they should use a ranked choice system. Because they don't, tactics like this are necessary to avoid vote-splitting, which only serves to elect a less-preferred candidate.
@Cobratate This ship was cyber-attacked.
Pod bay doors wouldn't open and it deliberately ejected that dude into space.
Extraterrestrial agents of the USA attack digital infrastructures.
Nothing is safe.
Black monolith event imminent.
@onbeeper@UrbanOwlNYC@ericmigi What if they're sending it to our contact, which has both the apple id email and our phone number? I'm guessing apple will automatically send it to the apple id, right?
@CarryFaze @MD71_@onbeeper Source that they're working on it? Also if allowing beeper mini to function would allow iPhone and android users both to communicate with encryption and high quality media TODAY then why wait for RCS? And again, they're only doing RCS because of the government pressure.
@CarryFaze @MD71_@onbeeper Horrible analogy lol. And Apple is only implementing RCS because of the exact kind of government pressure I was talking about. Also Apple's implementation of RCS will still be unencrypted because they'd rather keep the experience as shitty as possible than collaborate with Google
@CarryFaze @MD71_@onbeeper So what? It would enhance the experience for both iPhone users and Android users, and make everyone's communication more secure. Might drop apples sales by 1% or something but I really don't care. Your sense of what is "right" is blinding you from what is actually important.
