@birddog69@amuse So, he was appointed to the bench by President Bush, but before that he clerked for Supreme Court Justice Alito. That's "left leaning?"
@PeteHegseth@ICEgov Yet another ignorant comment. Stop acting like a petulant child and look at the murder victim's background. An ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA Center. He treated our veterans with care and respect. https://t.co/EvcLeCu3Em
@davbrks1@SeanParnellUSA@PeteHegseth What you also have is the White House Press Secretary confirming most of the WaPo story yesterday. You may choose to ignore it, but this is a pretty big deal. I'm sure the SECDEF is hoping that he doesn't have to testify at any of the hearings, but ...
@davbrks1@SeanParnellUSA@PeteHegseth When people of your ilk go low, I'll go low too. The only thing y'all understand. Hey- how about the the House and Senate Armed Services Committees yesterday announcing bipartisan investigations into the incident reported in the Post/CNN? I guess the "fake news" has some legs.
UPDATE: The GOP-led House Armed Services Committee says it too will pursue “a full accounting” of this operation
It’s significant. Since Trump’s return to the WH, the Republican majorities in Congress have shown extreme deference to his administration

@DaveFoster92630@SeanParnellUSA@PeteHegseth Apparently the Secretary has given some rent-free space to bipartisan members of the House and Senate Armed Services Committees. They announced late yesterday and earlier today that they'll be investigating what happened. That's sort of a big deal.
@Michael72172097@SeanParnellUSA@PeteHegseth I've learned that hard core lefties and committed MAGA people are for some reason afraid of other opinions. You go enjoy your fantasy world...
PR advice: WH, DOD, et al are giving WAY too much airtime responding to the leaked DIA assessment. Give one response, say it was preliminary & low confidence, move on. The bizarre defensive approach drags the story on much longer.
More intel will emerge that very well may back the WH assessment. Wait for that, brief Congress, share what you can with the public.
