Can only imagine how the Tory press would have reacted had this happened under a Labour government! ๐ฑ 'A โringleaderโ in an organised criminal gang who had 48 previous criminal convictions managed to obtain a ยฃ50,000 government Covid bounceback loan.' https://t.co/p83k0UA2vn
@HalifaxBank Would be best to speak to a human@and have some sense that my business is of interest to you. This process takes far too long. Iโve wasted so much on it already.
@HalifaxBank customer service died? Tried to pay a Q in, refused access to cashier. Was told I'd be better off choosing another bank. Phoned u today - 15 mins of irrelevant narrative + I'm in a queue with Lloyds as if I'm a branch. fyi- I'm a customer but not for much longer.
@HalifaxBank you know, it's extremely difficult to explain things in a few characters. If only you had a system that allowed me to speak to a human ... that's what customer service needs - human contact. You've forgotten what this is really about...
@HalifaxBank I was out the door within seconds. After 50 years with your company it seems my business is no longer interesting to you. AND, my call was answered and transferred to completely the wrong dept. AN external service. Hopeless.
How convenient. So no minutes, no tender process but here's ยฃ600 million pounds, which by the way is 5 times the amount the government allocates to support women's refuges.
Preparing for impt debate in House of Commons tomorrow on need to end barriers to UK musicians touring EU. Lots of MPs concerned about this. We'll press Govt to get on with solving & grill Minister about what they've done so far! @WeAreTheMU@UK_Music@ISM_music@CarryonTouring_
So if Iโve got this right the PM chartered a plane to fly him from a climate conference about the survival of the human race to dine at the Garrick with a climate-sceptic Telegraph grandee, but canโt make it back from a hospital PR stunt for a parliamentary debate on corruption.
Day 16. I'll be honest, I'm praying Richard will go home soon. But I totally understand why he feels he can't. I admire his determination beyond words. Still, I'm hoping someone powerful will stand up and say: "It's OK Richard. We're on it. We'll take it from here."

@pnjfoster I'm curious, are you asking for yourself or for a friend? The first thing is to be sure you have the right coach for you... then it might come down to how you show up for the work ...
A Tory MP was found guilty of using his Parliamentary position to lobby Ministers on behalf of big corporations paying him ยฃ10,000 a month.
The Tories just voted to overrule the judgement by Parliament's independent, cross-party committee.
A return to the dark days of Tory sleaze
What a way to start the 14th season of Music in New Malden with a fabulous mix of jazz standards. Thanks to Katriona Taylor, Peter Hammond and Simon Little. They are in Wimbledon next week if you missed them or indeed want to catch them again.
