You can now fake an entire software company in a weekend. AI video, AI images, AI testimonials. I know because a doctor sent me the ad: an "EMR" I had never heard of, running our selling points nearly word for word.

3. Ask who is behind it and how long they have been around. Real vendors leave a trail: years of posts, doctors you can text, a support line where a human answers.

And the first thing I see when I open X to post this? A gambling ad.

The government's anti-gambling blocking system is accidentally blocking legitimate sites, including ours. Our users are scared. New ones think we're a scam.

It's always the businesses that have to be reactive.
