🔵 X has more verified creators than ever. But are creators actually making good money?
I've been exploring X as a new creator, and there's something I find increasingly interesting.
Getting a blue check is relatively straightforward if you're willing to pay for Premium.
But turning that blue check into a meaningful income? That's a completely different story.
And I think this is one of the biggest misunderstandings about monetizing on X right now.
1️⃣ A blue check is no longer a business model.
A verified badge can help you access features, build credibility, and work toward monetization eligibility.
But it doesn't automatically bring you an audience, viral posts, or meaningful earnings.
Paying for Premium is an entry cost. It isn't a guarantee of a return.
2️⃣ Millions of views don't necessarily mean millions of opportunities — or much money.
Under X's new Original Content Rewards program, not all views count equally.
The program focuses on qualified impressions from Premium subscribers viewing original content in their Home timeline. Total views alone don't tell you how much a creator will earn.
In one publicly reported example, a creator claimed to have received around $240 for a video with more than 79 million views. Other creators reported very different payouts.
These are individual reports, not a universal payout rate, but they highlight an important problem: a huge view count doesn't automatically translate into a huge payment.
3️⃣ The rules keep evolving.
X retired its previous Creator Revenue Sharing program in September 2026 and introduced Original Content Rewards.
The new system puts more emphasis on original content, meaningful contributions, and qualified impressions.
That means strategies that worked under an earlier monetization model may not work as well today.
Building an account around recycled viral content or chasing raw impressions could become increasingly risky.
4️⃣ So, what is the real opportunity on X?
Personally, I think creators should stop treating platform payouts as the only business model.
A strong account can potentially create value in several ways:
• Platform rewards
• Sponsorships and brand partnerships
• Affiliate marketing
• Selling products, services, or digital products
• Building an audience for a business of your own
The right mix depends on your niche, audience, location, and ability to convert attention into value.
Platform rewards can be a bonus, but building an audience that trusts you may be more valuable in the long run.
5️⃣ My biggest question is this:
If so many people are paying for a blue check, chasing impressions, and trying to qualify for monetization, are we building sustainable creator businesses — or simply competing for a limited pool of attention and rewards?
I'm not saying X isn't worth it.
Quite the opposite: I think it can still be an interesting place to build an audience, share ideas, and discover opportunities.
But we should be realistic about the difference between having a verified account, getting views, qualifying for monetization, and actually making a profit.
I'm documenting my own journey as an AI creator, and I want to understand the economics of this platform rather than blindly follow the hype.
What has your experience been?
Are X's creator rewards still worth pursuing in 2026, or is the real money now in building a business around your audience?
I'd love to hear honest experiences from creators at different stages. 👇

I don't want AI to replace my curiosity.
I want it to expand what my curiosity can accomplish. ✨
When I have an idea for a video, I want to explore it.
When I imagine an app, I want to prototype it.
When I discover a problem, I want to experiment with possible solutions.
AI makes it easier to move from "What if?" to "Let's try."
And sometimes, that's all you need to begin creating something unexpected.
The future isn't just about smarter machines.
It's also about what more people can create with them.
What have you created with AI recently?

Grok Bot watched 412 smart wallets, killed 9,382 of 9,396 copy signals through hard filters and copied only 14, turning $85 into $1,759 overnight with 10 green and 4 red, no charts opened and no trades manually approved.
Let's build a list of underrated AI tools. 🧰
Not the tools everyone already talks about.
I'm looking for the hidden gems that genuinely save time, unlock creativity, or make difficult tasks surprisingly easy.
It could be an AI coding assistant, a design tool, a research agent, a video generator, or something completely unexpected.
Here's the rule: recommend something you've actually tried, and tell us what makes it useful.
Let's help each other discover tools worth using.

What will be the most valuable skill in the AI era?
Knowing how to code?
Writing great prompts?
Using the latest AI tools?
I think the answer goes deeper.
It's the ability to identify a meaningful problem, imagine a solution, and turn that solution into something real.
Tools will change.
Models will improve.
Today's workflows may become obsolete.
But curiosity, judgment, creativity, and the willingness to experiment will continue to matter.
Don't just learn how to use AI. Learn how to think, create, and build with it.
What's your take?

You don't need to have everything figured out before you start.
Your first post won't be perfect.
Your first project might fail.
Your first idea might not work.
That's okay.
You learn by publishing, building, experimenting, and listening to feedback.
I'm documenting my journey as an AI creator, and I want to remember this:
Progress doesn't always look impressive in the moment.
Sometimes, progress is simply showing up again tomorrow.
Keep creating. Keep learning. 🚀

A prompt is not the magic. 🪄
The real magic is knowing what you want to create.
You can give the same prompt to 100 people and get 100 different results.
Why?
Because creativity isn't just about the words you type. It's about your taste, your references, your decisions, and how you refine the result.
AI can generate possibilities.
Your job is to recognize which possibilities are worth pursuing.
Don't just learn to write better prompts.
Learn to develop better ideas.

A small reminder for everyone building on X. 🔵
It's easy to get obsessed with follower counts, impressions, and engagement.
But numbers don't tell the whole story.
One meaningful conversation can be more valuable than a thousand empty impressions.
One person who trusts your work can become a customer, collaborator, or lifelong friend.
I'm still at the beginning of my journey, and I'm learning that building an audience is not just about getting attention.
It's about giving people a reason to stay.
Let's focus on creating value, not just chasing numbers. 💙

The barrier to building software is changing fast. 🚀
You no longer need a huge team just to test an idea.
With AI coding assistants, a solo developer can prototype, build interfaces, connect APIs, and ship a working product faster than ever.
But here's the catch: writing code is only one part of building something valuable.
You still need to understand the problem, make good decisions, and build something people actually want.
AI makes building easier.
Knowing what to build is still the hard part.
What would you build if you had a free weekend and unlimited AI assistance?

💡 An expensive AI tool doesn't automatically make you a better creator.
Sometimes, the best tool is simply the one that helps you finish what you started.
I've learned that collecting tools is easy. Knowing when and how to use them is the real skill.
One well-designed workflow can be more valuable than 10 subscriptions you barely use.
Don't just chase the newest AI tools. Find the ones that actually help you create.
What's one AI tool you genuinely can't live without? 👇
