Denton Parks FDN

Engaging the Denton community to enhance the mission of the Denton Parks & Rec Department to unite, grow, & play. Our vision is unite people over parks & play!

[Denton Parks FDN @denton_parks]

Why does @cityofdentontx need a Parks Foundation? Great question!

Group sports aren’t just for kids! Check out these guys who regularly play soccer at our local parks. There are physical, mental & psychological benefits to playing group sports. Have you played any group sports during the #everydayinmay challenge? #feelgoodfriday

We love seeing the baby ducks grow at our parks! What animals have you seen during the #everydayinmay challenge?

The best way to enjoy a hot #everydayinmay is with #mom and a sweaty yeti from @gnomecones How did you enjoy #mothersday?

[Denton Parks FDN @denton_parks]

We don’t always find the best things in our parks. While out during #everydayinmay we discovered this tag. Luckily, with an easy note to Denton Parks and Rec on the Engage Denton app or site this will be cleaned up. When you get #outside at the park you can help #makeparksbetter!

[Denton Parks FDN @denton_parks]

What sounds do you hear when you hit the park #everydayinmay?

[Denton Parks FDN @denton_parks]

No matter how you keep fit we hope you enjoy this #nationalfitnessday #outside during #everydayinmay!

[Denton Parks FDN @denton_parks]

Our Board works hard to further the mission of Denton Parks and Rec & to help #makeparksbetter. Today, some were at the Tim Brewer Golf Tournament while others joined the DPARD park tour! It’s been a busy #everydayinmay Monday but we still got to the park! #mondaymotivation

[Denton Parks FDN @denton_parks]

Today kicks off #EveryDayInMay, a month long community challenge to visit a City of Denton Park every day this month. We want to see where you go to get #outside!
