Today's issue of @YourLocalPaper has some fabulous pictures of our KS1 nativity on page 16 🥰 We're so lucky to have an amazing music teacher, Jon Lawrence, who writes original plays and songs for all our Christmas and Summer productions 🙂
Wonderful articles and photos today in @YourLocalPaper and @TheLynnNews about our recent visit from Ben Allen from @UWEBristol with his team of robots. Our Year 3 and 4 pupils had a fantastic day learning about the robots and then designing their own.

It was a fabulous tournament enjoyed by both of the teams from Denver! Thanks to @WestnorfolkSSP and @DMA_PE_Dept for a wonderful afternoon and to @hillcrest for hosting 🙂
Is your child due to start school in September 2024?
If so, Denver V.C. Primary School invites you and your child(ren) to join them for their Open Morning on Friday 20th October from 9.30 - 11.30am.
We were so excited to welcome Pip, the reading dog, and his owner Fran to school on Wednesday to listen to some of our children read. He will be visiting every week and the children really enjoy reading to him. Thank you Pip and Fran! #readingdog@WensumEngHub@YourLocalPaper
Some fabulous pictures (thank you as always @Ian_Burt) and write up about our KS2 end of year performance in @YourLocalPaper this week. Our pupils always have fun staging an original musical every year written by our fabulous music teacher, Jon Lawrence 🙂
What a lovely gesture by one of our parents - thanking our amazing music teacher, Mr Lawrence, for all of his hard work. We're very lucky to have him and this years original KS2 play / musical is another masterpiece! @ClassicFM
Although the majority of the funds for the project will come from local grants, the success of these grant applications will be greatly enhanced if some money can be raised by the community. We appreciate any donation, no matter how small.
Thank you from the children 🙂
We are seeking to create an outdoor learning area for the Children of Denver Primary School.
Taking learning/teaching outdoors can keep children engaged and able to enjoy the natural environment that surrounds them.

and also make further progress in reading, writing, maths and science – in addition to better at working in teams; and showed improved behaviour overall. The outdoor classroom also helps settings with social distancing, by providing a sheltered and multi-functional space.
Well done to all the children for taking part so enthusiastically in the sponsored walk today. It was lovely to see them all wanting to achieve as many laps as they could. The new assault course was definitely a good addition! A huge thank you to the Friends for their support,
