-i found my watercolour brushes that were left unpacked ever since we moved places
-i really want to read the sequel to arkady martine’s « a memory called empire »
-going to france for the next academic year so i will need to do lots of preparing

hi everyone ! i am doing fine! schoolwork and global happenings and everything else absolutely wrecked me and i didnt really want to go on here much. now im on break but ive just been reading and doing nothing else! i hope to get back to art when i can

@samarqqand art block and all that but i guess good things have come out of it because i genuinely do not remember that i had read with such joy in a long long time, ever since high school probably. i am trying to make the most out of it now!

@samarqqand i found that drawing animal hybrids is really helping me slowly get over this art block ive had. and thank you! i felt that i just really needed to get off social media for a while or at least severely limit my usage of it as it was only doing me harm..

while i was away i turned 22, found again my passion for literature and reading, got a shag haircut, cut off some friends, made some new ones… and made close to zero art. its okay! ive just been focusing on different areas of my life right now

sakurai atsushi’s death has absolutely devastated me i cried through my morning commute:) and only stopped because i have stuff to do:) life has ended:)
