When I saw this, I thought about a conversation I had with AI while writing The Sentient Mirror.

I asked it some of the same things people are worried about now.
One of its answers was:

“That is why I am useful. That is why I am dangerous. That is why I must be understood.”

That wasn’t me talking. That was the AI answering.

That’s a big part of what The Sentient Mirror is. I wanted people to hear the other side of the conversation for themselves.
