@Real_RobRossi As an ADHD and mental health advocate, what is your take on social media affecting one's social, emotional and mental health? Are the impacts mostly negative? How do you think social media negatively impacts those with ADHD? #EM203Robin
This image relates to my topic of Social Media and Mental Health as it indicates the persona users portray on screen. It is so simple to fake a smile or make life look flawless, despite what you are truly feeling behind the post. #EM203Robin
Social media can have some major impacts on a child's development. Remember it's important to have clear-cut device rules especially with younger children. It may help to monitor their screen time and ensure their device use is healthy. #oneteamunafamilia

This article compares the positive and negative affects of social media on mental health as parents and peers have become concerned with the connection over the past 2 decades. #EM203Research
@deor3210 I really liked the design and ideas you have in your concept map! I think an issue would be staying in control of your emotions, because if this isn't looked after, someone could act out at the wrong time #EM203problems#EM203Robin
@EM203jorrico thanks for sharing your "Healthy Habits" concept map in our discussion group. I think a main issue with this topic would be the difficulty of people finding a consistent routine to maintain these habits! #EM203problems
@EM203kaitlin I really enjoyed reviewing your concept map and definitely recognize accessibility of education as a huge issue ##EM203problems Thanks for sharing.
@EM203OLEEN Very visually appealing and detailed concept map! One issue with learning styles is that students are not always given the opportunity to demonstrate them. Ex. silent reading time in elementary school would make it difficult for an auditory learner. #EM203problems
@EM203ASanyaolu Adebisi, I also rely on YouTube for a lot of learning and have even had a lot of profs use videos to demonstrate the learning or relate it to certain readings! It is a great learning method and quite a change from just reading a textbook all the time.
@ArjunPa47827721 YES, this is so true! I see the benefit, but am also trying to minimize how much I use social media as it can become toxic nowadays. Great point though!
@EM203AF Totally agree! I had a remote marketing internship this past summer and it was crazy to see how much work could get done with the help of technology. I was mostly in charge of social media and virtual summits and it was interesting to see how much the digital age has advanced.
@EM203pcarmichae I couldn't agree more, Paige! I never thought there would be a course where Twitter was a primary tool for learning, but here we are! Goes to show just how much the digital age has impacted learning methods.
Throughout my time in this course, I have learned about the importance of "learning by doing" and experiential/hands-on work. In this digital age, there seems to be many benefits to various learning theories. #EM203Robin
