Kenny Omega. What a year.

I don’t have the words to give Omega’s current run the praise it truly deserves, but I’ll try.

Omega told MJF along with the rest of the audience that he no longer wanted his diverticulitis to be a crutch in his career. Sure, he’d continue to emphasize it in some of his matches because that’s just what he’s supposed to do. But the days of commentary constantly using his illness to define him are long gone.

Kenny won the belt off MJF in what was not just an amazing match, but an amazing build which had some of my favorite Omega promos ever. The moment was euphoric, the babyface triumphed over the villain. Omega proceeds to run one of the best programs in AEW all year? with Kevin Knight, resulting in a star making Main Event where I thought the heel/babyface dynamics were the best parts of the match.

This fucking guy. Proceeds to continue to tell an amazing, albeit very shaky story with Will Ospreay, which led to some of my favorite AEW segments ever. The difference this time is, Omega went full on cleanse and somehow got the entire stadium of Wembley to turn against him. His heel performance in that match was one of his greatest performances I’ve ever seen.

Will’s inevitable success that we could all see from a mile away doesn’t achieve the same level of emotion it did without Omega’s unbelievable performance. To think most of us knew the result, yet both were still so meticulous with what they gave us to the point where it didn’t even matter. It would take a book written by best authors in the world to describe what Kenny Omega means to pro wrestling, and how legendary his career has been. All I can do is sit here and try to acknowledge it while we’re still blessed enough to live in it. Unreal.

AEW All In London 2026 was the best stadium show in company history, by a pretty large margin.

from top to bottom, a fanatastic show with no misses and some great moments capped off by two INCREDIBLE matches in their own unique ways.
