Serious question for those who believe the journalist crossed the line on the report about the Clancy holdout: are you at all concerned about whether a juror who is alleged to have ignored the law in deliberations lied in his questionnaire and may have either been unfit for service (after voir dire) and/or unquestionably would have been peremptorily struck by the PROSECUTION?

For those saying “the charges against the juror were dismissed.” It’s because the victim didn’t want to testify against her abuser, which happens ALL THE TIME in DV cases. Also, a 13 year old family member called 911 and told police he witnessed the juror grabbing his wife by the throat and slamming her. Four years later that boy was 17 and he applied for and was granted a restraining order after the juror threw him to the ground, punched him in the face, and yelled that he was doing this because he “ruined his life”, presumably by calling police on the juror years ago. A judge found this story credible enough to grant an order which is still in effect to this day. Assaulting a witness for his testimony is also the definition of witness intimidation.

If he lied on the juror questionnaire by not mentioning any of this it’s a big deal.

We’ve never seen anything like this before. A man was conscripted into jury duty by the government. He performed his civic duty and followed his conscience, refusing to acquit a woman who confessed to systematically executing her three children. The defense attorney immediately launched a public smear campaign against the juror. Soon several other jurors joined the campaign. Then the media. Even the defense attorney’s wife has joined. Now they’re doxxing the man, digging into his past, contacting his family, showing up at his house. All of this both to punish him for refusing to go with their program, and to pollute any future jury pool by making it clear that anyone who votes to convict Clancy will have their life destroyed. It’s truly one of the most outrageously evil things we’ve ever seen from the Left, and that’s saying something. A direct assault on the integrity of our justice system. They are burning down every boundary and standard in their path. And doing it all for the sake of a child murdering psychopath. Unfathomable.
