Campfires are permitted but must be fully extinguished after use. Fires must be supervised at all times and must follow all applicable municipal by-laws.

This ban is in place due to dry conditions and increased wildfire risk. It will remain in effect until further notice.

Effective 12:00 a.m. on August 5, 2025, a countywide open-air fire ban is now in place across all municipalities in Huron County!
