The page is a fun dip into the pile of Monolith spaghetti that is Xenoblade 2. Highly recommend for those who like that sort of stuff.
In Xenoblade X, different AI-controlled characters have different chances of QTE success when binding an enemy in a Skell.
Doug — the ace Skell pilot who has constant combat dialogue about debuffing his foes — is tied for worst at this.
Hope is second-best.
@AhronaStudio Relevant fun fact: Anomaly Analysis is unobtainable after the unrelated(?) quest Cavern Crushers is completed. We suspect they got the type of the condition wrong, and it was meant to be "scenario condition 9" (ch8 complete) rather than "quest condition 9" (Cavern Crushers).
Advantages of having a robust condition module based on the in-game data: nothing left out, easy to change things all in one place, less work managing thousands of relevant pages...
Disadvantages: you have to display all the redundancy included in the game too.
