Have you looked into Hegel? His notion of recognition (and the fight for it) could perhaps be made useful as well.
@Mulboyne Ooof. I had that once in Tokyo at the instigation of a Japanese colleague, and predictably got very sick the next day — on the 12 hour flight back, of course. Went straight to the hospital after landing. Do not recommend.
@dixie_czyk @NowJacqueline @pmgentry@profdwh This is actually a second order mistake (introduced by Eddie Izzard), as there is nothing wrong whatsoever with that quote, and that donut thing is cringeworthily wrong and can’t ever have been double checked with someone who actually speaks the language.
@GreatDismal I really wish people would understand compositionality of word formation. There’s a German word for everything, if you want it to be, just like there is an English phrase for everything. What’s so special about white space (or lack thereof)?
Mich würde ja schon interessieren, was die geschätzt 90% Bots, die mir hier folgen (oft ähnliche Accountnamen, gleiches Bild, wenige Follower), davon haben. Einfach nur zu faul, Accounts mit mehr als 3 Buchstaben zu finden? Aber warum überhaupt jemandem folgen?
@kathrinpassig Informatik in der Mittelstufe, 80er. ELAN/EUMEL, Multi-User auf 8080er. Bis zu Rekursion gekommen. Im Nachhinein eigentlich ziemlich anspruchsvoll.
