A popular topic in my peer support sessions seems to be overthinking.
👉Overthinking comes from thinking too much of yourself.
• Focus on being of service to others
• Stop over analyzing & treating every thought as important
• Practice gratitude
• Let go of control
@derbaron76 Absolutely. This is a sin I’ve struggled with often, especially when it comes to friends & family that have hurt me or not met my “expectations.” I know better now so I’m trying to do better. I don’t think people realize how this takes so many forms in our everyday lives.
@MissLyallXXX@Matt_Pinner We'd leave in the morning and be out all day. Bike riding, and "exploring", and some of the families had triangle bells that could be heard streets away when it was time to come in.
@8Gypsy_Soul Agreed. A conversation can slip from talking into gossip before we even realize it, and then we find ourselves all the way down a gossip laden tangential path. Begging the question "how did we get all the way over here?" Be present and mindful.
I have a Hurling or Hurley stick in my spanking equipment bag, it is 30” long, very well balanced and is a delightful implement to spank with. Give the length of the handle and the weight of the blade, it makes a memorable impression on its lucky recipient!
