This is a team with BALLS and I love it. So much to love about it, so much better than recent seasons. Also, the crowd may be smaller but the atmosphere is 100% better.
Come on you Super Rams #DCFC#dcfcfans
As a duo, that’s probably Bird & Shinnie’s best performance. Rooney asked if his players could dominate their opposite number in the man marking system Boro employ. They did that and then some. Owned the middle on and off the ball. A great combo, like surf & turf
WR on Morrison: “I’m delighted to get Ravel in. He can add to our creativity. I could speak about question marks people have against him off the pitch - he’s had a past. We’ve all got a past. But since he’s been at our club he’s lifted us. He’s a great player and person.”
Richard Keogh turns down rehabilitation on a good wage after crippling himself pissed up while Curtis Davies sticks around to earn peanuts. Always knew who the real captain was..
Right then - after several long conversations, here's where we stand with a few of Derby's issues:
Firstly, owner & exec. chairman Mel Morris will meet with the Supporter Charter Group next week to field questions.
Imagine it'll be bound by confidentiality, but it's something.
It is ludicrous that EFL are forcing #dcfc to count the kids who played at Chorley as Players of Professional Standing. Totally unreasonable and they simply need to see sense on the issue.
This might be controversial, but I don't think we had a particularly bad team last season, we just had no depth in most positions.
These new signings might not get you off your seat, but they're an improvement to the squad. Not relying on the youth is a big improvement #dcfc
Derby are being handed a points deduction from the EFL who previously agreed that we’d not breached any ffp constraints because a few clubs pissed and whinged about it
Meanwhile the big 6 who wanted to break away from the prem got a slap on the wrists
Lol
