Addi Casey took 3rd place in HI and qualified to state, Janie Edwards took 5th in Poetry and 6th in DI, and Emily Jewett took 5th in Impromptu.

Derby competed at the Maize forensics tournament today! Kenadee Ellis brought home 4th in Original Oratory, and Mace Hays brought home 6th in International Extemp.

A couple of students brought home medals, including Addi Casey with 5th place in Humorous Interp, and Danylo Golyshecskyy with 5th place in International Extemp!

Derby placed 2nd in overall sweeps at our first forensics tournament of the year at Wichita West today! 🥈🎊
In particular, Ellis took 1st and Bartel took 3rd in Informative, and both have already qualified for the state tournament 🙌🎉

For Novice, the team of Fernandez/Arredondo Martinez were UNDEFEATED and took 2nd place, and Griblin/McCurdy took 8th! 🤩
