You’re not supposed to look like them.
You’re not supposed to think like them.
You’re not supposed to act like them.
You’re not supposed to be anything like them.
That’s the entire point.
- Andy Frisella @RealAFShow
A large percentage of the population never picks up another book when they finish school.
I want you to consider this...
If you were taught how to read...
You literally have access to an unlimited amount of information.
Information that can sharpen your perspective.
Information that can help you build skills.
Information that can teach you valuable lessons.
Information that can save you years of trial, error, and frustration.
...and you choose to let that opportunity go to waste?
Reading is leverage.
The knowledge, information, and perspective you can get from a single book can change the outcome of your entire life...
IF you apply the lessons.
I'm not any more intelligent than you or anybody else.
I've just committed to reading 10 pages of a book every day for the past 25+ years.
What would your life look like if you made the same commitment to yourself?
Because I promise you this...
The time you'll save...
The roadblocks you'll avoid...
The mindset you'll forge...
...and the skills you'll develop...
Will all help you build your life into a story of greatness.
It all starts with picking up a book and reading.
Choosing not to is no different than being illiterate.
Remember that.
When you talk about your big plans, they tell you to "be realistic".
When you start to "go", they pretend to clap.
If you win, they will say you got lucky.
If you stumble, they are going to laugh and call you a loser.
They will smile in your face and pray for your downfall in the same breath.
Fuck these people.
Instead of spending time trying to win people over that are going to resent you no matter what…
Forget about them and focus on being the best you possibly can and winning as big as you can.
Do that and you won't have to say anything.
They will be eating their own shit with your undeniable results.
Eventually you'll forget their names…
…but they'll never forget yours.

Andy Frisella warns against more division amongst Americans.
"If you haven't figured it out yet, neither of these teams give a f*ck about you. It's the People vs the government. It's us vs them."
@johnkempf The most memorable one has been the episode where you discussed the top 10 characteristics of excellent leaders. Can’t seem to find it in the episode listing anymore, but I think it applies to so much more than just agriculture!
🚨BREAKING: The mainstream media is trying to censor the Joe Rogan and Donald Trump podcast.
Here is the full interview. SHARE so all Americans can see this! 🇺🇸
In some circles, people who want to eat healthy are seen as odd. It is socially acceptable, preferable even, to consume garbage.
Do you care for yourself and your family as well as you want to care for your soil?
This whole polycropping practice weather it’s wheat/beans, corn/beans, whatever is just sitting there waiting for autonomous small machinery to take to the next level.
Couple truths that call out all the BILLIONS given to the biggest AG corporations if their true motive is to lower the carbon footprint
1. Cereals or corn requires less Nitrogen when it’s banded and put in an arrangement where more of its leaves can access sunlight
2. Legumes like soybeans produce nitrogen. Alone they are detrimental to the soil, teamed with a cereal or corn they are much better…and refer to 1. They need N
3. Erosion from wind and or water is mitigated with a cereal out there growing when our summer annuals aren’t
Studying the supply and demand of water we can mirror that in the spring with cereal strips at low population with banded low rates of N
4. Polycropping produces more with less especially if you have the prerequisite of knowledge from research like I have on my farm.
5. It’s obviously not the goal of all these climate / soil initiatives that googles of money are thrown at or they would be all over these practices.
The goal is to continue the ratcheting of power where we’re required to all swim in the same strokes or not get the candy required to stay a viable business as input pricing is merely a reflection of the manufacturers options. If the price of corn goes up…everything follows suit.
Like the Wuhon COVID debacle the powers at be want to kill small business to gain full control. We were pretty much forced to get pricked or you couldn’t fly, you couldn’t play in the NBA
Farming is a break even proposition unless you have a lot of equity and things like manure to lower costs…and a little imagination looking through the lens of 1st principles.
Looking forward to the next 5 years. The bigger the obviousness the more damning the evidence. Modeling could guide different geographic regions to have more suitable practices to put to better use our natural resources.
Just because we don’t wear a mask at every waking moment of the day doesn’t mean that we aren’t forward minded people. I can promise you this, you’d learn more from tables like that, than from 4 years of university.. trust me I’ve been in both.
Man why do you have to be that guy? Maybe we are all vaccinated, maybe we aren’t. Quite frankly it’s none of your business what we do with our bodies. Thanks though! For a man of science you would think you would consider all scenarios first.
