Is the NBA regular season truly just the “Get to the playoffs healthy” league?
Is this why the Pistons won 60? Other teams just like “these guys are crazy, don’t let them hurt you w their physical stuff” so teams didn’t fully engage us? Making us seem better than we were? lol
@KuKhahil 1) Kawhi
2) KD
3) Kyrie
KD I think would work well here. Fits the DNA. He seems to be a good teammate till bullshit and egos pop up then he combusts. There is none of those issues in Detroit and KD seems to love Cade
@DoeJumars@Miggysbat We don’t really have a choice. This is what you get when you bring Steve in. He’s driving the car until he doesn’t want to. Him and Larkin clearly don’t mesh well, it’s up to Steve to maximize this. We don’t have any other choice
@DoeJumars@Miggysbat I’m doubting worse return. His contract is good, he’s going to create a bidding war for a really good 2C. He’s miscast here as the leader of a developing team. He’s not a leader. He’ll be great elsewhere, but this feels like addition by subtraction imo
@KuKhahil Totally fair, and I liked that you asked this question bc it made me think and commit to option B while still questioning it.
For me, if our first team All-NBA guy is what you and ai think he is, I’m hoping he’s capable of raising all ceilings
