I've declined my invitation to serve as Area Chair for NeurIPS 2026. Excluding researchers based on institutional affiliation rather than the merit of their work sets a troubling precedent.
@tydsh OpenReview needs a 'rate the reviews' function for the public. Verified accounts should call the shotsโif a reviewer gets a low score overall, they get blacklisted for the next ICLR.
Honestly, OpenReview really needs a feature where we can rate reviewer comments. Like, any verified account should be able to score them. Then, if a reviewer has a terrible rating, just blacklist them from the next ICLR. #ICLR2026
Our Medical Physics Retreat was on 6/28, at Stanford Cardinal Hall! This inspiring event recharged us and discussions flowed naturally, igniting new ideas in advancing medical physics & radiation oncology.
Thank you to our keynote speaker, Paul De Jean of Precision X-Ray!
