@calgarytransit Schools are telling students that school routes will be active starting the first day of school, this Thursday (31st). Is that correct? We’re not seeing these routes active on the transit planner for this week…
For a moment there I thought Twitter/X was a dumpster fire. Then I realized I was on the "For you" feed, which is utter garbage. As much as I'd like to train that feed to only show me useful content, I'm thinking I'll just let it spew randomness and ignore it.
@hacks4pancakes I remember getting DVDs in the mail from this small little company called Netflix. So much better than having to go to a rental store and hoping they had the movie available that you wanted to watch.
Having technical foundations definitely helps secarchs better understand how to secure systems, but those skills quickly degrade and become dated. So, does this common prerequisite actual serve a useful purpose? Or is it simply another barrier of entry?
I think @RBC has botched something with their CC fraud system. Massive wait times for their fraud team, random declines (but if you keep trying, it eventually goes through), unable to add cards to apple pay, etc. Anyone else having issues?
Glad to see that we're starting to make progress. Thank you for the update @GovKemp and thanks to all of the people working in the background to make this happen!
As of 6:00 today, Georgia has now reported:
➡️ 393,970 total vaccinations
➡️ 22,871 today
➡️ 187,070 since Monday 1/11
➡️ 42.5% of shipped vaccine administered
@BrianKempGA what is being done to fix this #CovidVaccine situation in GA? GA has administered the least amount in US (looking at percentage of distributed vaccine). Insane. https://t.co/zyxGNEK3ds
@GaDPH What is being done to speed up getting vaccines administered? GA is ranked last among all states with respect to the percentage of allocated doses administered. https://t.co/zyxGNEK3ds
This could take the form of: “All people born in Jan-Jun in 1949 with the last names beginning with Aa through An.” The government has all of the necessary data to calculate how to define these groups for a given location’s throughput as well as adjust as needed.
(this needs to take into account logistics limitations for vaccine delivery, social distancing, observation, staffing, etc.). Given that number (and a reasonable buffer), break up the population into groups that fit that target number and align with the recommended priority.
