Big shout out to the Cross Country teams. Boys finished second, Girls finished third at the BWAC League Meet today.
Julian Walker was BWAC Champion and Owen Beindit and Kadence Ager both earned 1st team honors.
The Algonac boys’ Cross Country team finished 5at at the Division 3 regional meet on Saturday. The Muskrats were led by top 10 finishes from Julian Walker (3rd) & Owen Beindit (7th). Both will compete at the state championship next weekend @ Michigan Speedway
The Algonac girls’ Cross Country team finished 6th at the Division 3 regional meet on Saturday. The Muskrats were led by Kate Bennett (13th) & Jasmine Walker (22th). Both have advanced to the state championship next weekend @ Michigan International Speedway
Congrats to the girls’ Varsity Cross Country team for a 5th place finish at the Marysville Invitational. The girls beat 14 teams including Richmond, Marine City and Anchor Bay. Individual medals were won by Kate Bennett (12th place) and Jasmine Walker (20th)
Congrats to the boys’ Varsity Cross Country team for their 2nd place finish at the 19 team Marysville Invitational. Individual medals were won by Julian Walker (3rd place) Owen Beindit (4th) Clint Malcolm (26th) and Nate Clemons (27th)
Congrats to the girls CC team for beating Richmond, Brown City, Cardinal Mooney & others for an 8th place finish out of 18 teams at the Muskrat Classic. Kate Bennett and Jasmine Walker earned medals, while Kate & Lylah Pyszora ran personal best times for the Muskrats.
Congratulations to the boys cross country team for beating Marysville, Richmond, Marine City, Cros-Lex & others for a 5th place finish out of 18 teams at the Muskrat Classic on Friday. Personal best times were ran by Nate Clemons, Tyler Bowen, Clint Malcolm and Chase McCarthy.
Algonac High School Girls’ Cross Country were team champions today at the SC4 Skippers Cross Country Showcase today at Goodells County Park. Top 20 finishers for the Muskrats were Kate Bennett, Jasmine Walker, Jena Dusenberry, Charlie Harms, Olivia Pastrone and Annie Baumgarten.
Congrats to the boys’ cross country team for beating Almont, Richmond, Marine City, Imlay City & others on their way to a 2nd place trophy at the Mariner Invitational. Individual medals go to Julian Walker (2nd), Owen Beindit (3rd), Zach Witherspoon (12th) & Nate Clemons (18th)
