The impression a lot of supporters have is that the public subsidy would come from items that don’t exist without the project. Are there specific areas of the project that fall outside of those funding sources we should know about?

Even in Brodie’s last video on the status of the project he mentioned the A’s making a proposal, the city rejecting and presenting their own. Not that it isn’t close but it is still being refined right?

I think there a people outside that genuinely want to have this project support Oakland and its residents and that should be welcomed not shunned. The A’s, Oakland, The Port will continue regardless of outcome. There is no need for us to go at each other.

Everyone backing the ballpark should be looking out to make sure this is a great deal for Oakland. I think most of us would hop onboard to support some items.

We are getting pretty close to a point where all the blowback should be on Fisher if this doesn’t get done.
