In 2020 I was one of 7 dems that won a district that Trump won, so I held a series of listening sessions with people who voted for Trump and voted for me to understand their actions. I reread the transcripts yesterday and much of it felt like it could have been said today. THREAD
Some standout #NACTO2024 moments: the clarity & courage of plenary speakers Mayor of Hoboken @RaviBhalla and @VeronicaODavis, @JSadikKhan leading a moment of silence & naming the 6 workers killed at the Key Bridge, & my @OakDOT colleagues past & present showing up for my panel 🥹
As a bike enthusiast herself, Sanitation Worker Jaclyn Mondido knows the importance of a clean bike lane.

@buttsmeister@pahlkadot That said, still good room in the margins for improvement in HR. OakDOT has shifted to continuous recruitments for higher vacancy positions = the call for apps is left open and the “list” never closes and is updated with each new batch of applicants. Keeps the pool fresh!

In the last 24 hours, I’ve heard of colleagues’ store-based credit accounts hacked, their phone bill account hacked, attempts to open credit cards in their name in other states, and fraudulent charges on their spouse’s credit card. Anyone celebrating this is an absolute ghoul.
