Hola from Andalucía! Did the Caminito del Rey gorge walk near Málaga today. Well worth doing, if you don't mind heights! Maximum in Málaga 34.4°C today.

Cardiff Bute Park was the hottest place in Wales today with a maximum of 35.9°C! A new June record for Wales and a new record for Cardiff. Tomorrow will be less hot but still very warm. Cooler on Sunday and next week with more normal temperatures.

Temperatures have reached 36.7°C at Merryfield, Somerset, provisionally making it the hottest June day on record again for the UK🥵

Wales has also seen its hottest June day with 35.9°C at Cardiff and Northern Ireland tied with 30.8°C at Castlederg 🌡️

Temperatures have reached 36.4°C at Yeovilton, provisionally making it the hottest June day on record, surpassing both the previous record set yesterday and the longstanding record from 1976 🌡️
