@Olbennett13 Make up a solution of ethanoic acid with sodium ethanoate. If you do it with equimolar quantities like 0.05M of each your pH=pKa

@suziemdick @Emma_Seith 2/ that was 19 years ago but it still lives with me. However I know I’m a good teacher having taught and lectured hundreds of young people and adults.
People can be so cruel when in positions of power.

@suziemdick @Emma_Seith 1/ Irecall being told (as a student teacher) that as a mature student I would not make a good teacher as I had worked in industry for 9 years. The had of faculty said to me that the only good teachers were the ones who became a teacher straight from their degree!
