Day 2 of our Sciences Curriculum Improvement Cycle Core Group. Minds are focussed on the rationale for Scotland's revised 3-18 Sciences Curriculum and what we want curriculum, pedagogy and assessment to look like and feel like for learners.
@Olbennett13 I’ve done this plenty of times in college and you can also show visually how an indicator is not the best at locating the equivalence point.
Looking forward to a very different day on the Sciences Collaboration Group, @EdScotSciences. Over 120 delegates from all over Scotland representing all areas in education for Sciences.
@ApprenticesUoM@worldskillsuk@MiddlesexUni@uom_mecd@OfficialUoM That’s so nice, thank you.
Don’t recall anyone taking our pictures.
We love doing the judging ❤️
Hard work but keeps us on our toes and it’s a great way to keep up our technical skills too.
@suziemdick@Emma_Seith 2/ that was 19 years ago but it still lives with me. However I know I’m a good teacher having taught and lectured hundreds of young people and adults.
People can be so cruel when in positions of power.
@suziemdick@Emma_Seith 1/ Irecall being told (as a student teacher) that as a mature student I would not make a good teacher as I had worked in industry for 9 years. The had of faculty said to me that the only good teachers were the ones who became a teacher straight from their degree!
@englishspecial Oh my oh my. I can’t believe that this is an actual thing that is even getting any traction. And the type of shoes impacts your learning experience how? Surely the focus should be on something more meaningful. 🫣
