@softcorgamegirl I feel guilty when there are 3 people left, and it's two total sweats, and they get to the point that one is dead, and the other is at 3 percent, and you are full up on health, ammo, and have the element of surprise.
@thekellhop I generally start with a backstory element.
"What if mortals challenged the gods for heavens... And lost?"
"What happens when an evil sorcerer raises his army of minions, and wins?"
@slashnburnett Most legal jurisdictions require quid pro quo for a contract. If there is no consideration, there is no contract. That is why you sometimes hear whackadoo stories of people selling things for a dollar, or working for a dollar a year compensation because it has to be nonzero.
@kristinkuffner When I lived in northern California, some of the bigger fires would drive the AQI north of 500; it was like being in the Silent Hill movie for days on end. I feel this.
@Role_Play_Chat One time a party decided to take a long rest after partially exploring a cave complex chasing a bbeg. Their reward for spending a night not getting to his lair? He fled before they got there. Not sure what they expected after they decimated a significant portion of his defenses.
@Role_Play_Chat Roll 1d10 every hour, or 2 hours if they extended effort to conceal the camp. Each 1 is a random encounter. The order matters, because I ask people if the establish shifts to watch.
