@bryndensraven @thecoymoon King Brand could absolutely work if the story actually addressed and wrestled with the fact how creepy but maybe also useful an omniscient cannibal psychic child in that role would be. Which is completely in line with George's other work. The show just doesn't really do that.

But, officially, Aegon II was chosen on Viserys' deathbed. Under "the king chooses" rules, Aegon II (or Aemond even) could now name Jahaera, depending on who is alive.

They could do the same here and undermine their own point, but Rhaenys never had that go ahead from her father, right?

High Valyrian, as far as I can find, has around 2000 words currently.
English has about 171,000 in regular use,
or 1 million in total.
