@Dreamweaver1014@BlaisHunter Vegas also has a more balanced approach at using their personnel, Bednard barely used any of his forecheckers in the 3rd, LOC, Kelly etc. Toews on PP1 is puzzling, as they need a puck mover, Burns or Malinski would be better suited at replacing Makar…
@Dreamweaver1014@BlaisHunter Vegas averages 6’2” & 210lbs vs Avs are 6’1” & 192lbs lightest in the NHL, that’s the issue, they always struggle against bigger playoffs teams, Dallas, Vegas etc…. That and Bednar not able to get a fabourable line matchup on home ice is puzzling to me…1/2
@DenverNoseBleed@HockeyMTNPod@christian_bolle Bad bench management, our forecheckers stayed on the bench, Bedsy has the last change, couldn’t find a way to have favourable matchups, Toews on PP1 was puzzling too, Vegas had a more balanced usage of their players, which showed in the third, they had more energy because of it…
@wyattmatthewes@NHL_Muse He was the only reason we went in OT, if he didn’t score, then who would’ve been your scape goat? McDavid going alone vs 3 guys, started the ball for the loss, Mac losing his man on man battle, then Makar not back checking hard enough, that whole line is to blame.
@HockeyMtnHighCO@brennan_vogt I'd love to have a player like Adam Lowry on the third line, I think Winnipeg might be sellers this year but would be probably reluctant at trading him within the division... I think his AAV would be a lot easier to manage than most Novelty names link to the AVS on social media.
@ElwayWasWorstGM@HockeyMTNPod Also, Makar is the only reason they got in OT in the first place, give your head a shake, plus if he would've been successful at the poke check we wouldn't have this conversation, 3v3 is a gamble game, he gambled, Jack Hughes Gambled, Jack won end of the story.
