Today, Prime Minister Nsengiyumva visited the Muvumba Multipurpose Dam Project in Nyagatare, a key investment in Rwanda’s sustainable development.
Once completed, the project will irrigate more than 10,000 hectares of farmland, generate electricity, and provide clean water for thousands of households, strengthening food security, livelihoods, and climate resilience.

During the press conference, RTLM journalist Noel Hitimana asked Maj. Gen. Paul Kagame whether he was related to Queen Gicanda and whether he had attended the same school as President Yoweri Museveni.
Maj. Gen. Kagame immediately replied that Queen Gicanda was Rwandan, so naturally she had relatives. Responding to the second question, he told Noel Hitimana: "You should ask yourself why I didn't go to the same school with you."
