This is Archie.
Archie was diagnosed with a heart condition at birth, and underwent open-heart surgery at three months old. He has since undergone four heart surgeries, and 17 surgeries in total.
In 2018, he was named honorary co-captain of the Australian cricket team as they took on India. Archie was granted his dream by Cricket Australia and the Make-A-Wish Foundation charity.
Despite being a proud Australian, he has a soft spot for the Barmy Army and spent some time in our section, surrounded by members who welcomed him in with open arms!
Archie, you are an inspiration to us all ❤️
