@WelshAmbulance hosting @YsgolBrynElian public services at Colwyn Bay today. Great support from NEPTS, NQP, DOMS and SP. Teaching the next generation of our workforce👍
@LindaDuberley@GBNEWS@SkyNews Keep doing what you’re doing👍👏👏 Two of my staff are doing NARU this month so I’ve told them to look out for you. I learned so much. 🙏
Did you know? If you're over the drink/drug drive limit (or you refuse to provide a specimen) your insurance is unlikely to pay out if you're involved in a collision.
There is absolutely no excuse for drink/drug driving or riding
@CliveWardauthor Remember being on guard in Bodney camp when the sentries came in and reported that one of them had his hit by lightning! Naturally we were very concerned 🤣🤣🤣
Automatic headlights often won't activate in fog so please turn them on manually and use fog lights as well if necessary (but switch them off when visibility improves).
It’s harder to see other road users when it’s foggy so keep your speed down and stay alert.
Some drivers have been observed wearing a seat belt in the front, but leaving a child in the rear of the vehicle without a child car seat or seat belt. This is illegal.
As the driver, it is your responsibility to ensure passengers under 14 years old are properly restrained.
It is still illegal to use your mobile in a queue of traffic, whatever you're doing with it:
• Texting
• Tweeting
• Calling
• Streaming
• Taking photos/videos
If you need to use your mobile phone, find somewhere safe and legal to stop your vehicle first.
For some people, it could become a ‘normal’ routine to use drugs and continue with their day - going to work, meeting friends, going shopping.
However, if they attempt to drive or ride a vehicle, even if they think they feel ok to do so, the consequences could be life-changing.
If you are a motorcyclist and you use the roads in Wales, Road Safety Wales is offering CRASH Cards free of charge.
The details you write on the card could provide vital information if you are unfortunate to be involved in a collision.

Most people have little experience of driving in snow and ice so please consider how it could affect you:
❄️Reduce your speed
❄️Avoid harsh acceleration, braking and steering
❄️Increase your distance from vehicles in front
Don't just drive as normal.
As Wales braces for a weekend of snow and ice, visit our website for advice on driving in wintry conditions.
