How far has distance running come?

To run the 2000 Olympic 5k you needed an A standard of 13:29.

This past week Jacob Kiplimo ran faster than that over 4x in a row in the half marathon. He averaged 13:26 pace.

The game has changed dramatically.

@aerlingus you cancelled our flight to Venice next Saturday and originally rebooked us on a flight 2 days later. We’ve since asked for a refund but you’ve removed our booking reference so we can’t access the link for a compensation claim!!! Is this your way of avoiding claims!!?
