@bethanyjbabcock It’s beefy but safe and just works. They have a million models in their system with settings done and the kids can learn to design in any CAD program and import. One of the cheaper Bambu models is great if they are just dabbling

@Black_Kettle might have been their point. they have great models that they didn't have compute to serve which is why their prices have been nuts. Now they can say, well its just banned instead of we can't provide it. They need another year to let compute catch up

@DaveRBanerjee It makes sense if you were looking to crash the value of a company you wanted to acquire before they IPO. No way Microsoft, Amazon, Elon, Google let Dario go at this, he is a liability, doesn't bend the knee, says crazy shit.

@DavidSacks What if… Amazon is trying to kill the value of Anthropic so they can acquire it instead of letting it go public, they already own a significant amount of it. There is more to this story than safety, obviously.

@jessegenet @christofsalis Actual question, how much time does it take you to set up your AI agents, monitor them, improve them and talk about them? Not against it as a homeschool parent at all but just curious. If you talk about AI in a homeschool group though you will get attacked with ferocity.
