In 2016, Homewood claimed the AHSAA Class 6A state championship, defeating Muscle Shoals 54–51.

We look forward to honoring this championship team on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵, as we celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their title.
