The outgoing AUSSOM @kdfinfo Sector II Commander, Brig. Edward Banda on July 14 handed over command to Brig. Joel Maiyo during a ceremony at the Sector HQs in Kismayo. At the Dhobley Main Operating Base (MOB), Brig. Morris Wasomi also handed over command to Col. Paul Nalimo, ensuring continuity at one of the sector's key operational bases.

Brig. Banda thanked the officers and troops for their professionalism, dedication and resilience throughout their tour. He also expressed gratitude to the Federal Government of Somalia, the Jubaland State leadership, the @_AfricanUnion, mission partners and the local community for their support, before leading a minute of silence in honour of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the pursuit of peace.

Brig. Maiyo pledged to build on the gains of his predecessor and continue working with Somali Security Forces, the @_AfricanUnion and other stakeholders to strengthen #security and advance AUSSOM's mandate. At Dhobley MOB, Col. Nalimo committed to sustaining operational effectiveness, enhancing troop welfare and upholding @kdfinfo's professionalism. #AUSSOMInTheSectors

Sakaja came to office in the late 2022. In fact the date of official swearing in is 25 August 2022. Nairobi City County Assembly members were sworn in on 29th September 2022.

The governor has had his first budget in read and passed July 2023. His budget is not more than 2 months old.

Only a fool would try to rank Sakaja based on chaos of NMS and old budget.

We will rank @SakajaJohnson at the right time. It's too early for those who want to be governor to even think of campaigning against a new governor who has just started working.

I might not support Sakaja in 2027 but it's too early to even think of attacking him. To early to understand who you are fighting unless we are campaigning for the sake of campaigning.
