I don’t remember a single time Scott was disrespectful to Asare, he stated why he didn’t think he was the guy to be the no.1 my problem with all of this is that he has to try to ignore any form of abuse and also as he openly did when certain performances weren’t right accept that last night Benjamin did his job and did it well especially against an opposition that almost all of us were worried he would be found wanting against.

That said most of the takes in a bid to clap back risk taking all the credit to Benjamin when really it was a team effort especially the job of the back 4 and midfield in particular, the blocks and duels won amongst others but most importantly is the structure that limited England’s most important player to just 19 touches all game with just 3 in our box and only 1 shot on target.

That’s not just about goalkeeping but a strong team effort. NAUNCE matters uno.
