For months, my oldest has been asking me to practice driving at night…. and when he asks I’m usually so tired I don’t want to go.

Now he has his drivers license, and I’m realizing he’s never gonna ask for that again… and I’m going to miss it.

Love is immortal. Everyone dies, and despite what we’re taught our legacy is not measured in material goods… Not money. Not property. The only thing we leave behind on this plane that’s meaningful is love. Those who grieve for us will remember us, and therefore carry us forward.
