@RichYorks@Ian_Fraser@lokiscottishrap@jameshurley 2/2....would likely see sums collected by banks returned with interest & damages. And the statute of limitations may have expired for many claims preventing the banks collecting now. Add in the fines, legal costs & brand damage & it’snot hard to see it reaching a £10-20b issue.
@RichYorks@Ian_Fraser@lokiscottishrap@jameshurley And if you are tempted to accept the banks claims that it’s nonsense, just look at how delusional they were about PPI for almost a decade before having to accept the truth. Even then time & again they hopelessly underestimated their true liability. Judge them on their past form.
@nw_nicholas@jameshurley yes, you too. Sorry, hadn't realised. Julian Watts has compiled a phenomenal amount of evidence. According to Anthony Stansfeld it is "overwhelming" https://t.co/KVEdMch8fd
Banks forging signatures on an industrial scale to fraudulently repossess people's homes, seize business assets, etc. This has to be the biggest financial scandal to emerge in the UK since the 2008 crisis. Kudos to @jameshurley for getting the story out. https://t.co/r1LJstPyaT

The CEO has done nothing @jameshurley@Ian_Fraser
For the record. When @BorisJohnson invited colleagues to join his Gov.He was explicit that we had to agree to his strategy of leaving on the 31st Oct with or without a deal.We all need to reflect on our behaviour & professionalism in committing to a strategy agreed only weeks ago.
