my husband and i have known each other since 2013. every time we’ve gone out to a diner, he’s given me the pickle that comes with his meal, so that i can have two pickles. i assumed he did not like pickles. one day earlier this year i caught him eating a pickle, and i looked at him confused and said “i thought you hated pickles! you always give yours to me!” “no, i like pickles, i just give you mine because you like them more.” 13 years and i just found out the man likes pickles. now i feel bad for pickle depriving him for over a decade.
