@PastGlasgow I recognise it all. Went to primary school in Charlotte St. Had family friends in Monteith Row. Their house was in the 'dunny', what had been servants quarters. Faded grandeur as I recall.

@is_glasgow About 50 years ago my father took part in an inter faith project which involved him playing indoor bowls inside the Kirk. He loved it. Stayed in Parnie St then so a couple of mins up Candleriggs and he was there !
