I built something. This project has been a labor of love and side project for me for nearly two decades.
This started because I was freelancing. I needed tools that I couldn’t find in the market. Business tools are EXPENSIVE.

Thank you, Professor Anthony Townsend, for being a role model in my life and career journey. Your guidance over the past eight years has been invaluable, shaping my path and sparking my excitement for the future. This photo is extra special because Dr. Townsend showed up for the general graduate college ceremony and then I got to see him at the Business College Convocation the next day. From congratulating me at graduation to providing opportunities for growth, you have been a pillar of support.
Completing my master's in a demanding dual program would not have been possible without your mentorship. Your willingness to explore various research avenues taught me so much and made the process enjoyable. We delved into topics like social sequencing, EKGs for emotion sentiment analysis, and web morphing. Thank you for allowing me to teach a few classes on Jira and project management.
All that research, even though unpublished (yet), broadened my horizons and led me to focus my master's creative component on design systems, accessibility integration, and project management processes. It’s exciting to finally have a graduate degree and to be moving forward with my PhD and future work.
I am thrilled to be solely focusing on my thesis for a PhD (vs doing both a masters and PhD at the same time), a milestone made possible through your unwavering assistance.
The development of my own UI framework, Pedantic, has been a fulfilling journey, and I look forward to sharing it with the world soon. It will provide teams with a foundation to build applications in React, web components, Angular, utilizing Bootstrap, Material UI, and plain components without an external UI vendor.
Thank you for everything, Professor Townsend.

If you don’t know Erin M. Reese, you’re missing out. It was her dream to walk for graduation and show her daughter why all those hours studying and being away from playtime were so important. Unfortunately, she graduated during the height of the pandemic, and it was all online. But her school let her walk today!
I’m incredibly proud to call her a friend. She has been one of my biggest supporters for years.
Erin works in insurance and earned her master's degree during COVID. She’s also a mom to two of my favorite girls. We’re practically family.
We both got married, started families, worked full-time, and earned our degrees. It’s hard, and even harder not to complain or tell anyone about all the sacrifices—like a messy house, missed parties, and extra hours working to pay for everything.
Erin does it all with a smile and makes friends everywhere she goes. She’s truly the best.
Congratulations, friend.
I have a strong interest in moving into capture management, growth, or program management in my next role. Over the past nearly 20 years in IT, I've built multiple successful businesses and scaled hundreds of startups. While I haven't added this experience to my resume in an effort to keep my side gigs separate, I've realized the importance of showcasing my proposal, leadership, and program experience.
Despite challenges like juggling grad school for nearly a decade and facing biases as a mom in the workforce, I've successfully led teams and managed businesses. I've navigated through setbacks, including dealing with theft in my business, and learned valuable lessons along the way.
It's time to rethink how I share my journey, including the failures and side gigs that have shaped my capabilities. Leading teams and driving business growth are skills I've honed over the years, with achievements like managing billables of $65,000 a month in a side gig and supporting numerous small businesses.
These experiences, though not highlighted on my resume, have equipped me with the expertise needed for roles in capture management, growth, or program management. I'm proud of my accomplishments and ready to embrace new opportunities that allow me to leverage my diverse skill set.
Would you add those examples to your resume?
Why did I build a tool with a password vault?
There are so many password tools these days. Many are free or only charge for certain features.
I wanted an all-in-one solution to freelancing and small business that was mobile, dark theme, simple and didn’t charge me based on who I shared things to.
So, I built it myself. Over the past two decades I’ve been designing and building a lot of things for a lot of other people… but this is for me and YOU. Many business tools are expensive and cumbersome to use / setup. They don’t have to be though.
This tool combines your contacts in one CRM with a password vault, sales funnels, marketing tools and so much more.
Plus the base version is FREE (with a few annoying ads that can be removed if you upgrade). Donations and your support are much appreciated. Share it with friend or sign up and try it out for yourself.
Don’t forget passwords or write them on post-it notes. This solution gives you a way to save your passwords and share them with clients, friends, and family.

Standard operating procedures (SOPs) help businesses define policies and reusable checklists that streamline workflows. They assist new staff in adapting, but more importantly, they build efficiency and set expectations.

A friend of mine reached out for business advice recently. We had a wonderful conversation yesterday. She’s looking for a mentor, if that could be you keep reading.
Her goal is to develop educational materials to help students with math. What she’s developed to help her daughter and others is impressive, I’m really not doing it justice.
We developed a starter business plan, basic sales funnels, and identified her target demographic/ next steps. This woman wants to help people, especially children and parents, who are struggling with mathematics. Her story and what she’s created has a much bigger story that I don’t want to put in social media.
If anything I just said resonated with you or you think you could provide her with actionable advice let me know. I would love to help connect her to a business group or mentor familiar with learning systems, lms, education, or books willing to take on her ideas to get her to the next step. I see the benefit of what she’s made but I am not sure where to point her next.
Thanks in advance.
I’m actively seeking work in UI/UX. I have extensive experience in section 508 and accessibility best practices like WCAG. If you know of anyone that needs help building a software application or website please send them my way.
I also have an interest in product ownership and capture writing.
I built something. This project has been a labor of love and side project for me for nearly two decades.
This started because I was freelancing. I needed tools that I couldn’t find in the market. Business tools are EXPENSIVE. Most business tools are also cumbersome to setup, they are complicated. Most business tools that can do what I built are not mobile friendly.
So, I said… I can do that and started building my own toolset.
I have used so many similar tools over the years. Things like Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Engage Message… etc.
I wanted to have something that had a clean ui, with a dark theme, easy to use and setup, and could do everything I need in one app.
I wanted one app so I didn’t have to switch back and forth on multiple platforms.
I wanted my data to automatically and inherently be synced because it’s one tool.
I especially wanted a tool that felt and functioned like a brand that adhered to design best practices like consistency.
I also wanted to SAVE TIME! Oh I can’t express this enough as I look for freelance work or my next opportunities. Time is our most valuable asset. Three years ago it might have taken me 3-4 months to onboard a new client and utilize Zoho to help that business track sales funnels, clicks, promote and market etc. then the software was so complicated I would need to do a years worth of training on how to use it.
When I’ve worked for corporations who could afford big ticket systems like Salesforce ($10k+ per month) it would take many months to customize, administer and then ongoing manage the platform. It takes a team and a lot of money just to use the platform. It can do amazing things, but just isn’t accessible to startups or small businesses who can’t justify it.
I kept all of this in mind and partnered with a team to build something new. Something affordable that takes minutes not months to setup.
It does so much and is still growing and improving. It’s a task manager, a CRM, a password manager, social media automation, blogs, can manage expense reports, do invoicing and subscriptions, digital forms and so much more.
Plus, you can use the base version for FREE (donations are very much accepted and appreciated— plus we will annoy you a little with ads but you can upgrade to get rid of them). https://t.co/zKpUXaS7Zk

This is a tool that I believe can help more than just business owners. Anyone who needs to remember a lot of passwords, business contacts or manage a to do list can benefit (moms, dads, artists, students, teachers etc).
And even if you’re not looking for something like this, you can help support me by simply reposting this!
