I put this together in 2010, it didn't last long, after sitting on my hard drive for 13 years, never released I wanted to share. Big riffing stoner rock I love. Download on Bandcamp now. Available on all streaming services April 10th. Raw and Fuzzy!
Love to do some collaborations with other bands / musicians - no matter where you are. On a song, on a single. Even under different names or as a split? If anyone is interested let’s work on something…
@music_ripple Helpless - Diamond Head. Me and a friend would annoy whole pubs with over an zealous drunken circle pit of 2 people if we discovered that we could get that on a dukebox. There was a few ‘incidents’ ! Oops.
@DeathrattleP I’m also personally a hugely sloppy player, it’s just my technique, it’s not bad, it’s just more Neil Young than Iron Madden. So I’m never going to cover that up with ‘perfection’ because then it’s not me! Ha. Sorry for the Novel!
Opinion - (slightly generalized!) many of the new releases in the scene sound like they came from the same studio. Generic, over produced and money seemingly no object for gear. For me, unique bands define their sound because it’s all they had or borrowed.
@DeathrattleP And less and less bands experiment with their production and go to a polished studio and get that generic production line sound of no mater what genre it is, it just sounds the same. Then it gets extra sheen at mastering and all the individualism and character out.
@music_ripple Dwarves - Dwarves Must Die. Blag saying on it's release, without apology and even with a hint of what the motivation was for this record - 'for the fans of the last record, you are gonna hate this one' - and yeah they did! Love it!
