SMS medical college & @jardsmsjaipur have been on strike since last many days.
Reason? Scapegoatism of residents for flaws of the administration and @RajGovOfficial!
PGs suspended because a delivery happened just outside hospital premises. For no fault of theirs!
The whole of Rajasthan goes on strike from tomorrow and still no dialogue from @RajCMO.
We stand with you @jardsmsjaipur and other state RDAs.
Requesting @mansukhmandviya@MoHFW_INDIA & @GajendraKhimsar to listen to their demands.

Do you know that Junior Resident doctors are 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 against the administration 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥? Here is the whole incident as narrated by the 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫.
A gravida 3 pregnant female arrived on 3rd April at around 05:45 pm at the 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 with complaints of pain in abdomen. She did not have any investigations, and she looked severely pale.
The resident doctor on duty examined the pregnant lady. Her cervix was dilated only 3 cm, and she was not in active labor.
As there were 𝐧𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐛 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 at the Kanwantiya hospital, the attendants and patient were explained high risk, advised admission, and suggested to go to 𝐙𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚 hospital, which is also attached to SMS medical college, due to 24×7 availability of basic facilities like CBC, USG, lab investigations, etc.
But the relatives didn’t have any means of transport. So the on-duty OBGY resident 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 "𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐥" to help them reach Zanana hospital as soon as possible through an ambulance.
In this time period, her labor pains increased, and she delivered the baby on the trolley at around 06:44 pm, and a video of that incident was made and circulated to the media, becoming viral.
It came to the notice of administration, and they 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 the resident doctors working there within the next 24 hours.
Look at what the 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 published. They just hear one of the stories and publish it. Resident doctors have become 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐬 of the failed medical administration.

Urgent Call for Justice: Standing with Resident Doctors
I am witnessing a grave injustice that has unfolded in our community.
Since April 4th, resident doctors at SMS medical college and hosp, have been on a complete strike. This strike was prompted by a series of events that
Imagine taking admission in residency of Top medical college of your state ,working continuously for entire day only to find out your suspension because 1 patient with labour pain delivered in the hospital premises as sufficient facilities to deal with high risk patient were lacking in the hospital that time
These residents are demanding justice and the incident happened in SMS medical college, Jaipur leading to suspension of 5-6 resident doctors .
