We’re literally giving away FREE flowers at my job. Like… no catch. No purchase. Just “hey, take these home to your wife or girlfriend.”
And almost every man who walked in was like: “Nah, she’s good.”
SHE’S GOOD?? 😭 Sir it costs you absolutely nothing to bring home a tiny gesture and make someone smile for 5 minutes.
The flowers were FREE. The romance was FREE. The brownie points were FREE.
At this point I fully support my own decision to stay single because what do you mean the bar is underground and men still bringing shovels.

I’m a female uber driver.
I use the “women riders only” filter.

Sometimes I will get to the pickup and find that a woman ordered an uber for a man.
That happened last night.
Actually it was two men.

Uber gives me permission to cancel these rides with no penalty. But it can be hard to figure out what to say.

I said “Sorry, I don’t take men after dark.”
They looked dumbfounded.
I shrugged and said “62 million.”

As I was driving away, I heard one of them say, “Honestly, that’s valid.”

It is SO wild how the new Daredevil team has created a new show, yet added more depth to the original show, as they altered it by adding Buck Cashman to the story in Netflix's Daredevil S1.

Whenever you're watching S1, you can now feel Buck's presence. Truly amazing writing.
