I lost my father in 2019. I was okay when I got back to the village. I got back to the village 5 days before my father’s burial. On the day of his burial, that morning, songs began to play as we welcomed my dad corpse back to his home from the mortuary. You’d be surprised that someone like me that was chilled all along, I lost my composure & began to cry and jump on the floor like a baby. You can’t call that performative, I think it’s just a vulnerable form of disbelief and behavior because it’s becoming clear that someone you’re close with is truly dead.
I’ll always say this, if you’ve not lost someone really really close to you, you won’t know that kind of feeling, so at the end of the day I don’t even blame you my bro but I can’t call her behavior in that moment performative, it’s her brother for God sake, she’ll never see him ever again. She’s hurt and it’s okay for her to cry the way she likes.
Aunty Sade was diagnosed with cancer while pregnant around August 2020.
Doctors advised her to terminate so she could start treatment but she refused.
Friends & Family begged her to prioritize her wellbeing, she didn't listen. Her word "There is nothing too difficult for God to do, He knows what I am passing through and he will definitely help me out of the situation. And ask that we put her in prayers if we love her".
Everyone let her be while we all hope for a miracle.
She carried the baby to term, gave birth to a bouncing baby girl without any complication, and started treatment afterwards.
I got a call last night that she’s cancer-free and her daughter actually turned 5 last week Saturday.❤️
Indeed, what God cannot do does not Exist 🙌🙏🎉
For humanity sake. Help save this young child battling with Kidney disease. It won't cost a thing for you to repost it until he gets the needed help.
Show a little kindness!
Today’s a public holiday, most are at home relaxing or just having fun. Guess who are denied of doing such? The children kidnapped in Oyo, Borno and now Kogi. It’s almost a month with no food, proper care or shelter.
Pls Bring Them Home 🙏🏾
Watching Blood Sisters made me realize that friends like Kemi are almost impossible to find in real life. Omo, that level of loyalty is on another level.
